This is a program series that we are curently working on at our Glen Waverley Studios.
We call it The Sixties - MONTH by MONTH, chronicling the sixties from January 1960 to December 1969. Some comment on the events of the era is included, but in the main our aim is to present the music of the era in the order it was released to the Australian public. |

Hosted by Brisbane's Murray Shoring, the series commences with the music from January 1960 including Connie Francis, Johnny O'Keefe, Johnny Preston and Eddie Cochran among others, and concludes in December 1969 with John Farnham, Neil Diamond, Axiom and the Plastic ONO Band plus many other artists and songs in between.
It'll take those that remember back to the beginning and those that weren't there will get an insight into the development of music across the decade.
